I think youngsters just associate Elton John with that Diana nonsense but, when I was a teenager he was thought of in the same vein as Bowie, Bolan etc. Captain Fantastic and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road are classic albums.

'Ocean Drive' is in my top 10 albums of all time. You know, alongside 'Revolver', 'London Calling' and '36 Chambers'.

 This worries me the most because of the juxtaposition.

Not an album but I heart Dilemma by Nelly and Kelly

I have 'deep' and 'steam' on the iPod.

Absolute tunes.

Used to have a tour video of theirs when I was younger...

Oh the shame...

I've recently found out that liking these new 'false country' bands and singers like Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line is something to be ashamed of  I'll have to add them.

Take That!

Now I'm at an age where I really couldn't give a flying **** what anyone else made of my music taste.

Been to see them live numerous times, went to see their Progress tour 2 nights on the trot when it was at Hampden :peepwall:

I went to see the Spice Girls in Las Vegas back in 2007 (their reunion tour) and enjoyed it.

I also have songs by the following in my iTunes collection:

Barry Manilow

Kelly Clarkson

Britney Spears

Ronan Keating

S Club 7

Thankfully, they make up a tiny % of my overall music collection but they're shameful nonetheless.

Thank you for allowing me to share this painful secret.

Is The Enemy really a group to be ashamed of liking now? :( They're pretty much all I listened to for about a year and a half

Was watching "highlights" of Glastonbury and T in the Park recently.

Have to say I didn't have a clue who the vast majority of acts were. They all sounded pretty generic and shite, IMO, but then perhaps I'm old and "don't get it".

Anyway, if you like something why be embarrassed about it?

Would The Pet Shop Boys be embarrassing?

If so, them.

Only if you call them The Pet Shop Boys, rather than Pet Shop Boys.

Bros, even used to wear the Grolsch tops on my shoes in primary school.

Some of my mates say listening to Erasure is embarrassing but I think they're quality and I'm not embarrassed about it!
