Probably the Beatles but on top of Abbey Road studios as you might be able to hear them there.

Free are a great shout as well though. I've seen Bad Company but would liked to have heard Koss, on one of his more lucid days.

Free Live what a great Album. What was the name of the other band with Kossof,Kirk,......,&.......... when they all split up

Good call.

In fact, pretty much any gig at the Hacienda in its glory days.

Did I mention that I also want to see Queen as a support act to Moot the Hoople at the Caley? Blew Mott off the stage. :)

Now that I don't envy you! You poor sod!

Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?

1980

Punk had died (thank god).

Negativity too.

Futurism was Big!

As were analogue synthesizers.

Ladies and Gentlemen of (HMFC) Kickback.

I introduce to you...

Gary Numan.

(Shame the sound has been compressed so much as it'd blow your speakers apart!:))

May get pelters but Queen at their peak would have been sensational.

Freddie is definitely one of the greatest front men of all time.

But don't forget Brian May - one hell of an "axe man" (a well dodgy haircut though :)).

I hate these difficult questions :D

First reaction was definitely Queen, then on reading the thread there's just so many others who leap out.

Zep, Who, Beatles, Elvis, Marley...liked the shout for Mozart as well :D

I'll stick with Queen though, mid-80s...maybe the Live Aid gig as I'd get to see lots of others as well.
