flecktimus
Probably the Beatles but on top of Abbey Road studios as you might be able to hear them there. Free are a great shout as well though. I've seen Bad Company but would liked to have heard Koss, on one of his more lucid days. Free Live what a great Album. What was the name of the other band with Kossof,Kirk,......,&.......... when they all split up

Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
1980 Punk had died (thank god). Negativity too. Futurism was Big! As were analogue synthesizers. Ladies and Gentlemen of (HMFC) Kickback. I introduce to you... Gary Numan. (Shame the sound has been compressed so much as it'd blow your speakers apart!) lofer12
For me it would be The Small Faces or The Faces or The specials
Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
May get pelters but Queen at their peak would have been sensational. Freddie is definitely one of the greatest front men of all time. But don't forget Brian May - one hell of an "axe man" (a well dodgy haircut though ). Boof
I hate these difficult questions First reaction was definitely Queen, then on reading the thread there's just so many others who leap out. Zep, Who, Beatles, Elvis, Marley...liked the shout for Mozart as well I'll stick with Queen though, mid-80s...maybe the Live Aid gig as I'd get to see lots of others as well.
