Bollox - Aberdeen win 6-5. Only 1 penalty missed - lucky we didn't face Alloa in the shoot out!

Think of the confidence that'll give the young lads. :jjyay:

Correct, even if physically draining, adrenaline will be pumping!

Guaranteed League Cup R3 seeds: Celtic, Motherwell, St Johnstone, ICT, Hibs, Aberdeen, Hearts + 1 other.

So no Hibs or Celtic at home. :(

However, if we get a home tie it is vital we get a big home crowd.

So thoughts on the next round.

Who do we want?

Stranraer at home is the easy choice. I'd love a nice little away trip to Falkirk though. Would be a nice test

That was awful constant refreshing of the page to get updates

 Yeovil out on penalties, keeper saves it up in the air drops back down hits him and goes in

I couldn't follow the match at all tonight but who was in goal for us? The team lineup said McDonald but a match stat I saw said Ridgers saved a pen.

McDonald went off injured.

Well done to the boys, but I can't help feeling torn about this. A cup run would be great this year for the extra cash and a confidence boost, but you have to stack that against the extra risk of losing players we don't have through injuries, etc.

Seriously well done though, we seem to be getting the finger out when we're up against it.

Any news on McDonald?

Just a sprain. Should be OK for the weekend.

So proud of these laddies. Never know when the game is up.

Good to see the usual horrific chat that STRIKERZ MUST TAKE DA PENZ - hitting a dead ball under the pressure of a shoot out is not the same skill as being a striker and taking shots in open play ffs.

More good news (sorry if already mentioned) but with Killie and Ross County losing we will now be seeded in the next round.

Hmm, that's hardly great news. Serious?

Stranraer or anyone at home but will be a hard game whoever we get. Don't fancy away against anyone.

Home draw against any of the 2nd seeds. Let's get along & fill Tynie as much as we can for such a tie. Good pricing & marketing is vital though. On another note, these young laddies are being asked to peak & peak again. Nothing but praise for the way they have went about their task this season so far & the mental toughness they're showing. Well done boys.

Any home draw please.

We seem to have some seriously shit luck in cup draws.

really? I think our draws have been pretty good in the last 10 years.
