Who remembers the interview he gave when he let the cat out of the bag for the first time to reveal that our debt was over 5 million pounds?

 

I remember that as being the first time I'd ever had reason to fear for Hearts financially.

 

I just realized today on the day that we finally entered administration that that fear has never truly left me. It has always been there like an over hanging cloud.

 

Make no mistake, this situation has been many a year in the making.

 

A large part of me is truly relieved that after almost twenty years of god awful financial management, we are finally being forced to face this head on.

 

In a way, waiting year upon year for the axe to fall was somehow worse.
