ladyhawke - ladyhawke

6/10 is probably generous.

Catchy dancy 80s synth Blondie type stuff.

Will probably throw it away in a week or two, disposable poprock female vocals stuff like CSS or The Ting Tings...or Nenah???????

Plug In Baby by Muse.

It's on the telly. I'm still a bit baffled by their success to be honest. The laddie is a great musician right enough but????

Seen them at TITP in 2001, they played a tight set that folk were well in too, but I left with the "meh" feeling.

Ride - Waves (BBC Sessions)

Gigolo-Aunt

They were not a band that changed music, but they wrote some great stuff.

Taken a wrong turn after Going Blank though (carnival of light had some ok stuff on it though, but it was Gardiner's on one side, Bell's on the other - trouble at mill)
