Much, much better in my opinion. The jokes are a lot more clever and the characters much more believable, Monica and Ross turn into complete idiots in the last 5 series. It was quite funny when I put Friends on and would leave the room for a minute we would always hear him laughing. Most of the older episodes are definitely better, although there are some good one's in the last few series. I reckon the one where they're fighting for the apartment is the best. The one where Joey puts all of Chandlers clothes on is up there as well though. My buddy?" Eddie. Looks like it! Scrubs is heading the same way, they just repeat it from series one every time they finished all the series! Saying that, Scrubs is hilarious. They just went for the cheap laughs more than anything else, in short, the writers just got lazy and turned what were great believable characters into annoying characitures.
