Players don't pick their own platinum game. Each week, the platinum game is picked by the person named as Player Of The Week for the previous round. There is a rule about postponed games, which I didn't post at the start of this competition but which has been used in previous competitions. If postponed games are the subject of a decision by the Pools Panel, that decision will be used to award points for the overall result, but not the scoreline. I believe the pools panel only sit after a specific number of games which appear on the pools (strangely enough) have been cancelled, yesterday's total number did not reach the required amount, therefore they would be classed as void matches (for the pools like, not sure what Uly plans doing for this competition, suppose one option is to retain the scores predicted on record, and refer back to them when the games are actually played). The second round of matches will be played on 2 and 3 February. Second round matches and fixtures are listed here. Get your predictions in before the first game kicks off at 3 pm on Saturday, 2 February.
