I am the same, the back four is a mix but the midfield 3 and front 3 are fantastic. Hopefully some of the players that under performed on Friday have had a wake up call and take this as a chance to stake their claim for the first team.

Big Dennis seems to be being used a lot at centre-back these days.

Having a tidy game as well, composed on the ball

Half time: 0-0

Holt, Denis and Adam King have stood out for me. We started slowly which was probably not surprising given the relative lack of competitive action for several of our more "senior players"

Not quite sure why Denis is playing CH though, I cant imagine he would play there in the first team as Darren Barr would provide cover, therefore opening up a vacancy at DM.

McGlynn's got ome funny ideas about positions for certain players - Patterson at right back? McGowan as an attacking midfielder?

Sutton as a striker? ::troll:::'>

other than Sutton, where he is clearly misguded, I just think McGowan was being tried out for a position McGlynn saw as a weakness with Skacel and Black gone. Hopefully he's realised it works better other way around

My frustration with that change was that it weakened our defence, especially for the derby and ruled Holt out of contention.

GOAL!!!! 1-0 HMFC

Lovely pass by Holt, released Keegan down the left, excellent bundled into his own net by Killie CH

From Perth to Paisley

I think Dennis is playing at CB more out of necessity.

Interesting that Paterson is playing RB for the Scotland U19 team.

Any idea how strong (i.e. the overage players) the Killie team is DMcG

No one stands out, their #9 is overage and has skinned McKay a couple of times

Killie having a good spell, Combe with another save

Followed by a great run into the box by Robinson... no takers as his cross dribbles 6 yard box

Good save by Killie keeper from Adam King good work by Billy King and Sam Nicholson.

Brad Mckay very much like Zal in his mannerisms and playing style

How did Robinson play?

Starting to worry about this lads development. Not coming to the fore as much as I had hoped.
