SPL chatroom

I have been spending the last few days trying to find a good webhost, which I now have. Also chat software, for a project like this (which might snowball) your bog standard chatroom is a non-starter. I have found the solution...and it aint cheap!! but, it has all the functions I was looking for - Admin and moderator privelages, ability to make multiple rooms (for all teams), kick & ban abusive members or IP's, all users must register (safeguarding your nick), all rooms would have to be moderated, it also has a multitude of other bells and whistles.

 

So, opinions? would this idea take off you reckon? and whats your thoughts on it.

 

I would also have to try and raise sponsorship from local advertising to help with monthly running costs. I dont think that should be too much of a problem. Hopefully link the site up with all the other fans forums.
