redm
These Administrators seem like awfully nice, accommodating and flexible sort of people. Kind, even. If we aren't getting redundancies then I wonder how much impact appearance/goal/match win bonuses have on outgoings for Rangers and whether or not they might shape team selections while these wranglings are ongoing. They'll be a drop in the ocean but surely these daft administrators are finding ways to cut costs somewhere....

Hagar the Horrible
Some of my Hun mates are saying with a degree of certainty and accetptance is that IF they dont have a buyer with a good get out plan by the 16th of this month then they will be toast by the 20th. They are getting this from their peeil ITK. Not heard this anywhere else though myself, but it will be interesting to see if the Admins dont make any cuts as there is not enough cash flow to pay anybody or anything this month or the next. The only income is from addtional tickets sold at our game and the celtic game, which they wont get until after this months pay day.....good faith question again????????? we were haulded over the coals. It might make sense just to go down and play possum hand over players contracts to the SFA/SPL and dispence with any early termination fee. Diego10
Papac and Alexander, no doubt others as well, are out of contract at end of season and on big money. A blind retarded monkey could see they should have been made redundant immediately. Instead they are still sitting on the wage bill. If I were a rangers fan, which I daily thank myself for not being, I'd be raging at the apparent inaction.

Jambo66
The more I think about the revelations about the "secret" contract terms, the more I think that the wee tax bill, the big tax bill, the debts due to us, Utd and Dunfermline, the redundancies are all becoming irrelevant. If the revelations are true, then it looks as if Rangers have been in breach of SPL, SFA, UEFA and FIFA rules for at least 15 years. If that is correct, then they have to have their titles and cups stripped and be booted out to the bottom of the 3rd division at the very best (for them). If the revelations keep coming at this rate, we may very well have the honour of being the last team ever to play the once mighty Glasgow Rangers. wibble
These administrators are Whyte's people remember. Whyte IMO, has always wanted to liquidate because wiping the debt is where there is most profit for the wee turd. The Gasman
There seems to be a distinct lack of 'blitz spirit' in the camp. It is every man for themselves... The players there now did not have the luxury of the EBT's but they're being made to suffer the consequences. Presumably they've also paid their Tax & NI since Whyte came in, even though he's not passed it on, and again they're now being asked to take the hit for it. What a shame! Tazio
If (and no way will it happen) Rangers were to stripped of titles etc for the last few years then surely the clubs who are all bumped up the final league table must get the extra cash that goes with the higher place? If 12 months, 6 months or even 3 months ago anyone had predicted the current circumstances they would have been ridiculed. As indeed was anyone forecasting administration or worse for Rangers on here by our select band of mini huns (who have largely gone softly softly or underground recently). While we may be frustrated by the pace or inaction of the administrators, my pause for reflection reminds of just how awesome current events are. Roll on the next 100 pages.
