Jamie Hamill

His set pieces were average at best today but the corner in the first half that went out for a bye kick was a great ball, the fact that no one chose to attack the ball made it look worse.

Amazing !

One day, maybe one day Hearts supporters won't find the need to identify a player in this way.

Hammill is a good player, he had a good game today.

Don,t wish to castigate him but he certainly did not have a good game from where I was sitting.

Started the season brightly but has been honking past few weeks. Amateur manager in me says move McGowan back to RB and see what McHattie offers at LB.

Very much this .

maybe low on confidence?

maybe low in pay?

Boy in front of us shouted "you been paid yet, Hamill?"

he replied "naw"

the boy then asked him if he wanted a sub. Hamill just glared at him

Treated badly? These guys get paid thousands a week for kicking a ball. They have no idea what it's like to live in the real world and anyone who's taken the huff because they've had to wait an extra couple of weeks to get their dough can do one.

It doesn't matter if they get paid ?1 or ?10000000 per week to play. Thats what they have agreed with the club and they should be getting this amount on time as agreed. None of this rubbish about "living in the real world" and "they earn thousands a week" chat that goes on in here.

I bet you are one of these people who constantly moans about your salary and how you should get more..... remember YOU agreed to that salary with the employer and nobody is forcing you to work for that money.

Jamie's getting a lot of stick these days - I don't think he's as bad as he's being made out to be - maybe low on confidence?

Every Hearts player is getting a lot of stick these days

Not that it's any of your business, I'm lucky enough to make a very good salary for what I do. If my company told me they were having some cash flow problems and that I would still receive my wages in full but a few weeks late I wouldn't throw my toys out the pram and start doing a half arsed job.

There's currently millions of people in the UK who struggle to make ends meet, paying the bills or feeding their kids. If certain first team players need to spend a weekend in instead of being in WhyNot till 3am I couldn't give a flying ****.

You just have to look at where the guys we release each summer end up to realise we've been paying way over the odds in players salaries. Goncalves - without a club for months and ends up back plaing in Switzerland, Nade - now playing in Thailand, Kingston - could only manage a short term deal with some Dutch mob before hanging up his boots, Aguiar and Karipidis - out in Cyprus, Palazuelos - still without a club. They think the cash they were getting at Hearts was the norm and end up playing in some footballing backwater in order to satisfy their wage demands. Fast forward 10 months and you'll be able to add Obua to that list as well btw.

Your right it's none of my business so why tell me?

Maybe if they were late once you would feel that way about your wages not being payed but a second/third/forth time? no.

Honking yesterday. One decent game against the tramps cut him some slack but patience is now wearing very thin.

Also need to know why he's our set piece specialist???
