jamboinglasgow
Had been expected to happen, but great to see it confirmed. Think it will help them a lot being at the same team and hopefully they kick on in the games they have at Raith. Maybe a steep learning curve in the first match or two but I am sure they will learn and develop there.
Ribble
Didn't think that all 3 could go to Raith as they alreay have 3 on loan from Scottish Clubs and the limit was 5?
Stanley_
Didn't think that all 3 could go to Raith as they alreay have 3 on loan from Scottish Clubs and the limit was 5? Maybe it's different when they are only short-term loans?

ToadKiller Dog
because of the gap between U19S and the first team given no reserve league the best option is to loan them out . Raith is a decent club at the right level for this . Hope they do well .
jamboinglasgow
Maybe it's different when they are only short-term loans? Could be, if the SPL were wise, after they scrapped the Reserve league, they should have made an arrangement with the SFL that they could send players on short term loans so that they could get match fitness. This might be the case but simply I dont know.
jamboinglasgow
Just as a follow up, it turns out that Hearts were a bit premature with announcing the loan deals on Monday as Hearts and Raith had agreed to the loan arrangement but paperwork was still to be finished and submitted to the SFA. Raith Rovers have announced today that the deals have now been completed and will be there till the 5th of January. http://www.raithroversfc.com/cgi-bin/latestnews.cgi?id=3918 With everything completed lets hope they enjoy their debuts (provided they get them) on Saturday against Hamilton.
