Was impressed with Novi today, tried so hard to do the right things and hurt him self fighting for the ball.

But what a goal, how many times have we seen in the past a player cut across the face of goal and pass it straight into the keeper?

A tremendous finish (and worthy of goal of the season so far). Looking forward to seeing more of him in an improving team.

I like him and he looks a lot stronger this season.

Took a sore one today and hope he is ok for a role of some kind on Thursday.

Always a bit of excitement when he gets free with the ball.

I feel I need to hold my hands up here as I've never been his biggest fan, but today he had a very good game and if he can keep that form up then he'll be a pain in the arse for many sides.

Well done Novi, and a cracking goal!

Played well and great finish. Would still prefer to see him play on the left delivering balls into the box. Was ridiculous that the ref wouldn't let the physio on the pitch to treat him when he was clearly in pain.

I think the guys a class act!

Needs some more grit, confidence and power but it'll come in time!

He's lithuanian, he hates hibernian!

It's taken 6 plus years and loads of pain but we might have a player from the 'land of lithuania'.

Indeed, aside from the striker we sold for ?1million, our captain and (depending on what you mean by "land of Lithuania") arguably the best keeper in the league.

Miko and Cesy were both good players. Still are.

Kaunas sold Velika, Captain bombscare and Kello is from Slovakia

And didn't need to spin around on one foot - could score with both.

As I said, depending on what he meant by players from the "land of Lithuania", since that's where Vlad shipped Kello to us from.

Or do good players from Kaunas not count? :ninja:

Funny thing is, when he went to shoot, my mind cast back to last sunday when I was watching him warm up and he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. Still, best to keep these things for the match eh?

Good move by JJ sending him on loan. I think he'll be a big player for us this season if he stays injury free and I am keen to see him on thursday

He took the goal well but did absolutely nothing else and needs to harden up a bit in the challenge as does Templeton.

He really needs to stop getting knocked off the ball so easily.

Apart from the goal, which was exceptional, he looked way too lightweight and lost the ball way too easily.

He has much improvement to make but he clearly has a lot of talent.

Agree totally with your first two comments although not so sure about his potential the jury for me is still out on that one.

Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC

A confidence player I think.

No doubt about it though. He has real potential. Think Mr Sergio may be the man for him.

I think novikovas will get better through time he

Has the skill and a finish, he just needs to harden

Up and work a bit harder. He was anonymous at

Times today but what he did do, he done right. I still

Think temps has a bit of work to do as he loses the

Ball/makes the wrong decision too often, he should

Have squared the ball for Adrian today when clean

Through. It would have really capped a good performance

For Adrian if he scored today. I think Adrian still has

A lot to work to do but you can't argue the lad is

Improving under Sergio.

What he really needs is Match time, although he went on loan to St J he barely played. So he is still badly needing match time.

Sorry davey, do you know of any good iPhone apps that mess up your writing so that people take you seriously?

Took his goal well, very composed finish.

But probably bit too identical to Temp, light-weight winger likes to take on DF.

We had better midfield once Rudi replaced him I have to say.

Confidence is all that's preventing him from being ridiculously good. That and the fact he plays in a clogger league.

when he went down injured that fandango "chalky" who was doin the hearts world commentary was giving it the lightweight pish chatter and that he would like to see him get up and get on with, be a man was his words, silly ***** to stupid to realize that he had twisted rather than took a hit.

Also after slating Sutton, gave a congratulations through gritted teeth.

Why is there always a slaverer on the team, nobody veetoin the shit??
