The ones they had when I was going to school (1970s and '80s) were pretty smart. Wee ones about an inch square. All the same flavour, even though (iirc) there were different colours.

Although the Diggers used to do blue cheese crisps and to give you an idea of the era a pint of heavy and a packet were a quid.Dont ask me how much the lager was.

I remember blue cheese crisps too!! I think they came out in the early 80's or thereabouts. I hate blue cheese, but love the crisps, strange .

Would that be the ones that had a semi circle cut out of the top and bottom - sure they were all grey but were quite filling to chomp on !

Hmmmm can only recall the grey ones there again it was over 30 years ago so they may well been - still that was a bus ticket not like the flim flam ones you get now :)
