As for Romanov's decision, I think if he were going to fire off another broadside and tell everyone to butt out it would have been done by today. I'm hoping sensible people are now pointing out how ridiculous it would be to keep him on, in the hope that even Mr Romanov can eventually fathom out the difference between right and wrong, and not blame everything on some non existent Mafia. Exactly - the best thing to do is to read the rumours, safe in the knowledge that no-one really knows what will happen. Personally, if someone has heard something, I'd like to hear about it - if it turns out to be nonsense, then fine - it's pretty much my whole motivation for reading kickback. Ive typed my opinion, finished my coffee and biscuit, hardly raised an eyebrow of dicontentment, although the kit kat hasnt benefitted from being out of the fridge for too long and the coffee was a tad sweet for my taste. As VR was not present at original meeting, i dont think he went over everyones recomendation to fire him. I do not think the union rep/agent and players lawyer argued for him to be sacked. He would have come to his decision with some based on the ferdback from that meeting. Dont get me wrong, i know VR is his own man but do not believe he was the only one who came to the keep him on decision after first meeting, whilst all others involved in meeting wanted rid. If he had been sacked last week then a lot of the outcry and subsequent new headlines may not have come out. If revelations continue to be reported then more criminal charges may follow. What inititally was a fine may end being a custodial of the Police deiced that furthe action needs to be taken. He should have cut his losses when he was first convicted. I have a friend who works in HR at a very senior level, she reckons that upon revelation the normal course of action would have been redeployment outside contact with vulnerable groups or suspension if that was not possible. Upon conviction he should have been summarily dismissed. I would be amazed if Vlad was to back him now and if he was to back CT, I think as another poster suggested, it would be at Kaunas or MTZ-RIPO. On this thread I have literally posted the limits of my knowledge and hope others may have heard more they could add. If discretion is required I will always wait for the full story to come out and post the link. I'm not in the business of writing these stories or digging up dirt on Hearts, but in my position I will pick up snippets of what others are writing/investigating, so I feel it's correct I should pass these on to give a "heads up". yeah, and quite right too. people shouldn't be discouraged from it and you obviously know the responsibility that comes with posting 'snippets'. folk will just have to accept that sometimes you can end up with 2 or 3 posters all talking in guarded terms about the same thing, while others don't get to know the details. These new revelations are no surprise to me, I just worry about how many more stories the Sun's capable of getting together. The longer this goes on the more likely jail's on the cards. It would not surprise me in the slightest if they continue to back him. It would be utterly bonkers, would cost us a fortune and would stain our club for years, but it wouldn't surprise me.
