Alan_R
Now I'm not a writer and I've never attempted a poem, so go easy on me! After recent events, which I'm sick to the back teeth of already. I decided to rattle this together. Hearts are more than recent blips and here is why I'll always follow the Famous with pride. Heart Of Midlothian The days of Tom Purdie to the Scottish Cup, We have had some lows but we'll aye come back up, Plenty memorable moments have been, Watching Rudi, Cruickshank and Sandy Jardine, De Vries shot rippling the net in Bordeaux, Heart's passion and pride has always shown, Petric pegging the Germans back at Tynecastle, Heroes present and past like Barney Battles. Cheering on Paul Hartley's third in the Semi, Clappin' breathtaking saves by Antti Niemi, A mazy run from Temps, a belter from Miko, A curler from range fi Juanjo Carricondo, Our roots set in stone on the royal mile, To recent late winners from Kevin Kyle, Our rich history and honours can be seen, Enough to make envious neighbours turn green. So when I am done or my time comes too soon, You can let it be known I will always bleed Maroon.

The Kdogg is the Jambo Kickback Poet Laureate. Although I applaud these efforts they are not a patch on the master's work. See Fist of Gorgie thread, the Sunday Mail thread, and this belter(lost in amongst seethe) on the Gary McKay thread. Your fine efforts I log, But look through the fog, And we must admit, We're all pretty shit, When compared against the Kdogg.

Smack
From the king of the limericks! We've been put through the mill from half way through last seasonWhen the lads seemed to stop playing for no god damn good reason If we'd kept up that run we had back in December The season just passed could've been one to remember And still when we finished we were best of the rest Even though Dundee Utd put our nerves to the test We had such a huge lead way out in third place I credit those Arabs who never gave up the chase But still we got Europe and for that Im delighted We've not even had the draw yet but still I'm excited Gets us all thinking about great games in our past Like the night against Bayern and Fergusons 25 yard blast As we look to the future we were quick of the mark To make four new signings who should give some extra spark Jeff got Serg in early and he was right on the button To get us Grainger, Taouil, Hamill and especially Sutton Unfortunately though we've come under attack Cause of those dafties called Thomson, Ogleby and Black Then the statement from Vlad which was far from concise And the indiscipline fine with the unreasonable price Now the dust my well settle if CT gets the sack But we still have to wait for the verdict on Black And I hope we can keep our left back with the gun I'm sure he can do better than to play for the Hun So we must trust in JJ and BB and even Vlad They're all good Jambos except one of thems mad So get down see the famous and cheer on the boys There's no sign of Zander so let's make some noise And how could we not mention in a little Hearts ditty Those green and White neighbours from over the city They say they're from Leith, more Lochend it would seem You know who they are thats right Edinburghs Wee Team Their stats are embarrassing just check London Hearts They've not had a Scottish Cup win since we used horse n carts Not likely to get one with the signings they've been making Especially with all the White stuff O'Conners been taking There's only one team that's the talk o the toon The famous, The Jambos, The Boys in Maroon
