bobo_755
Anybody know bars open early in Glasgow tomorrow that will serve alcohol from 8/9am? Only bar I've found so far is The Counting House who will serve alcohol from 8am if you buy breakfast but a maximum of 2 rounds before 11am
Eckauskas
Only pubs that sell food.

Don't you just love this country, you can drink from 6am-3am in various licensed premises, you can buy alcohol from 10am-10pm in supermarkets/off licenses, while the rest of Europe piss themselves laughing at our laws. First night in a bar in Germany. 'When do you shut?' 'When do you want to leave?' Not necessarily an advantage on health grounds I have to add. Eckauskas
There'll be plenty of places open around the ground as well I would imagine.

We recieved the same answer to the same question on our first night in Berlin many years ago. Several hours later we were politely asked to leave. I think there is another one nr parkhead tho or something similarly disgusting. there will be plenty of pubs along paisley rd west open on saturday morning. just avoid 'the angel bar' like the plague. it is bigot central. gorgie_rebel
Not going through tomorrow but always found the District Bar. ok for Hearts fans. Think it will be open early doors but not 100%?? Keep cool, play nice and it's good for a bit banter and a "traditional sing song" if thats your bag. Failing that The Counting House in town will deffo be open if you get food with the beer.
