There are 2 ways of looking at it i guess Odds are short because -awful record in germany - a draw wouldn't be a bad result Long because -Schalke are a mid table team this year - Domestic home record not great Whilst i agree, if you said Man U were playing a mid table team from an arguably weaker league away in europe 5/4 seems long. Yeah I suppose but schalke have got this far in the competition so must have some sort of edge about them. The other thing is man u have tended (though by no means always) to do just enough away from home this season and a draw is enough IMO. Schalke have beaten Benfica, Valencia and Inter at home despite the poor league form, Whilst Man U have hardly looked solid away from the OT (in the EPL atleast 5 wins 9 draws and 3 losses) At 5/4, I'm more than happy to watch them win without getting involved.
