Dr. Bapswent
Why not. One is a football team, the other is music. To cloud the issue over footballing 'allegiances' is embarrassing and childish. Almost as bad as going down the .... 'I refuse to wear green' etc. What guff. Some people try too hard to express that they are the best Hearts fan ever. Johanes de Silentio
Allow me to put this as rationally as I possible can: The Proclaimers are a complete and utter absolute ******* JOKE! They are a novelty act, but they don't know it. It's nothing to do with being a Hearts fan at all, imo - if you enjoy the music of The Proclaimers, then you have no credibility whatsoever - NONE! Monsieur Maroon
Must say that I, a jambo, enjoy (some of) the music of the proclaimers. Don't have them on my mp3 player or anything but some of their songs are good. Also shrek is an excellent series of films!! Can't believe that Dr B! Finally the last nail in my coffin...I am in fact very, very tenuously related to the proclaimers too. Oh and I like wearing green. Nice knowing you all. Guest Dipped Flake
Is it possible to be Hearts fan AND like the Proclaimers? Or is it "Taxi for Ecce Romanov"? Yes, of course it is.It's a pity that the hibs have captured Sunshine on Leith as 'their own' as I really like that song, especially as I'm a Leither. Also 500 miles is a great song at the Scotand games Mind you, they do look like hibbies
