It is almost impossible to predict Hearts transfer activity no matter how logical your reasoning is. Skacel & Webster were both signed AFTER the last 2 transfer windows has closed on freedom of contract having been released by their clubs - we also signed Kyle, Elliott and Mrowiec for nowt on Bosman's. If you believed half the nonsense on here we'd be paying sizeable transfer fees for players and signing up to half a dozen proven SPL players every transfer window. It simply won't happen - SPL clubs are skint & need to lose players & lower their wage bills & sell some players to bring in a transfer fee to help raise income. If we get Taioul and maybe 1 or 2 others that is about the best we can expect imo. Boring things like money & squad size & existing players contracts do matter and are the main factors in what's possible ........ but that's boring so let's confuse our thinking and list half a team of new SPL signings that never happens then afterwards we can complain about Hearts lacking the vision & ambition to challenge the OF etc etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
