Just started on Sky Sports 1

After 2 mins Real Madrid were reduced to ten men after Casillas caught the Espanyol striker when he was through on goal. Could be an upset here as Espanyol have looked good this season and can attack a team.

Looks like I am wrong with the thought it could be an upset.

Madrid 1-0 up with a powerful strike from Marcelo.

Had bet quite big on Real Madrid to win. As thought Mourinho would have them fired up to capitalise on Barca dropping points last night.

Sickened to see Casillas sent off in the second minute. They've played pretty well though and deserve to be ahead. Cannot see them keeping a clean sheet though.

Not good.

Real getting a lot of joy at the long ball over the top.

Should be 2 up by now. Would be a good game to watch if I hadn't backed Real!

I bet on Real for that same reason also but I done Madrid (-1) at 5/4

I've done them HT/FT and a fairly chunky single on them just to win.

Shiting myself.

Harsh sending off, only one team in it since then. How adebayor missed I will never know.

Marcelo has been different class.

I have a five team coupon and I'm waiting on Real -1 for ?160 from a fiver.

Arse is sweating considerably.

If Real win, Villareal will have let me down for ?630.

:(

Plenty Madrid fans in here for the second half it would seem. :ermm:

Well this is thoroughly unenjoyable.

I can't believe Mourinho hasn't made subs yet after playing 75 minutes with 10 men!

Adebayor has single handedly screwed me over!

Two superb chances there.

Now that Deportivo have won, it was just Malaga that let me down for ?140. :(

Adebayor.

Incidentally, Eto'o has done exactly the same thing to me in the Juve Inter game. :seething:

Say what you like about Lionel Messi, but it doesn't take away from the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is an incredible footballer.

His direct running tonight has been unreal. And has laid it on a plate for Adebayor about 3 or 4 times.

Phenomenal win for Real there.

That took one hell of an effort.

To play for 90 minutes with 10 men away to a decent side and win is a hell of an achievement. The title race is back on.

You don't lose on -1, your odds are just reduced on your winnings.

We've been through this before KA.

Final score in from Barca and Lille score a second. This means that Samuel Eto'o missing two one-on-one chances and an open goal from 3 yards, along with Adebayor's ridiculous shittery has cost me about ?80. :seething:

I get confused with it. Regular handicapping doesn't seem to pay out.

Great result for Real tonight

Marcelo & Ronaldo were superb

Adebayor would be a great striker but seems so laid back, almost lazy. Missed at least 2 sitters!

Told you so... :whistling:

I just couldn't see Barcelona turning in a performance as poor as they did last night.

Gijon played them brilliantly.

They were saying during the game tonight that if Barca and Real reach the semi finals of the CL and draw each other that there could be four El Classico's in April.

That would be amazing.

If Mourinho fails to win the return Classico and Barca knock them out the Cup over 2 legs as I suspect they will then knowing Real Madrid his coat will be on a shoogly peg unless he can somehow hope Barca falter in La Liga or else he can deliver the Champions League although recent history doesn't favour them in that competition.

I thought Barca played very well for the first 30 mins in the second half. They should have scored long before Villa did.

However, I thought Gijon were exceptional in the first half.

4 El Classicos is a mouth watering prospect.
