Who should we re-sign next?

Okay, so this season we've brought back Mrowiec, Skacel, Webster and very nearly Hartley. So which ex-Hearts player who could do a job for us should we bring in next?

It helps if they're still playing, better than what we've got and anywhere even close to our budget. Would love to see Gordon, Fuller or Pinilla back, but it won't happen.

Is it too predictable to say Bednar? I always hoped Gary Naysmith would come back for a season or two later in his career, but a bit late now I guess.

Brellier is a free agent, sign him up! (Even if it's just to bring him on for the last 10 mins against the Hobos to break Riordans face and Murrays legs.....)

karipidis and aguiar would be fantastic to get back in. can't see it though.

on the subject of re-signing players. we have quite a history of it and the vast majority have been successful, debunking the age old theory of 'never being as good the second time'.

bannon.

robertson.

mcpherson.

colquhoun.

mrowiec.

skacel.

every one has been as good the second time around.

neil mccann - not so much.

edit - there's stewart as well. his second spell was better than his first season before he became a ***** for a year.

Sandy Clark to fill in for KK when injured. Just stand around in the opposition half and be a nuisance, he could still do it!

Since we re-signed Webster why not go for a punt at "Phressley" for coach? Even though the original Q was who should we RESIGN. I'm quite happy with the current management set-up.

Napoleon Wilson

Donald Ford

He's quite busy these days with his Photography business but im sure he could spare the odd saturday to play up front with Kevin Kyle. I think the most sensible option would be to offer a pay-as-you-play contract.

Kurskis (sp?). Never felt he was ever really given a fair crack of the whip here.

Only joking!!!

Agreed. Still a fine player, but up till he left he was dynamite.

Defo still a good player but like in his first spell a crackingf player.

Bruno (Aguiar), Miko & Pinilla

:yas:

Let's have Gordon and the original Bruno back as well, though. Pasquale just so he can cut about on the touchline in some classic Italian couture and threaten Neil Lennon.

If this question had been posted last year I would've said Drew Busby, because even at his age he would've been better than Nade.

I would still resign Hartley again and Jim Hamilton for cover.

Do the people who are saying Brellier reckon he'd get in our team ahead of Black, Mrowiec, Palazuelos and Jonsson, by the way? Serious question, because I really don't think he would.
