For me it's home made Beer-battered cod bites with home made chips and Bigga Peas

The batter is amazing, made it with flour, sugar and a bottle of Bud.

I've been asking my mum to make me chilli for weeks now but she's being a lazy cow.

Then again, i'm also lazy for no learning how to make it myself

Haggis, Neeps and Tatties but mixed the mashed neeps into the mashed tatties, put the haggis into a dish and whacked the mash on top. In the oven for 20 mins and Bob is your father's brother.

Job done.

I made Thai green fish curry from scratch, it was superb!

What kind of fish did you use? I've made red thai curry with salmon before and it was delicious. What goes well with green?

Cod is best mate, it's tougher than normal white flaky fish and doesn't take long to cook.

Monkfish is also excellent in thai curries, although it's a lot more expensive (unless you can find it on offer somewhere) - nice meaty texture and doesn't break up easily.

Ive never made beer battered haggis bites before but suppose it's just a case of forming a wee haggis ball, dip it in the batter and deep fry
