Gambo
I'd keep Banks Wallace Berra Karipidis Ruben Eggert Chesney Driver And empty the rest of them. Not just aimed at you Julio, but would anyone who has named players they want to keep shed any real tears or be hugely disappointed if the players they named did leave? Shanks
Financially, pinilla has been one of the biggest mistakes this club has ever made. This guy is a complete waste of space and we should be looking to get shot of him as soon as possible. I would keep - Banks Wallace, Berra driver, eggert, ruben (maybe) no strikers. If we get a manager in he is going to have a very hard job on his hands to sort this club out!

Charlie-Brown
Banks J.MacDonald J.Thomson Wallace Berra Karipidis Zaliukas Screpis Stewart Aguiar Palazeulos Jonsson Miko Chesney Driver Elliot Mole Nade Pinilla (excluding the reserves / U19's) I'd also re-sign Velicka if he fails to make an impact at Viking and they'd sell for less than sold for. H2
well if I was appointed Manager and give free reign to select who is kept this is the answer. Banks - Yes, good keeper but he is no spring chicken. I'd be looking at the young Icelandic keeper as back up now, and a contingency. Wallace - No Berra - Yes Tall - Yes Gonclaves - Yes McCann - No Kingston - No, not consistent enough and does not play enough games Aguir - depends on outcome of his ops, hopefully yes Driver - Yes Bednar - still a Hearts player, I'd bring him back. Nade - No Malela - Yes - given the chance he will score goals. Miko - Yes Chezny - No Johnson - Yes Elliot - Yes Stewart - Yes Kancelkis - No Karipis - Yes Zaliukas - No Pinillla - No Ivaskev... - No Ksanavivius - No Kurkis - No Basso - Maybe - has potential if he gets confidence Screpis - Yes Palazuelos - Yes

Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC
Wouldn't care who left in the summer. It's more a case of being concerned about who stays. They have all showed that they are not up to the job of playing for Hearts this season, couldn't care less whats happening behind the scenes ... most have shown that they are utter mince. Del1812
Banks Neilson Wallace Goncalves Berra Karipidis Mikoliunas Cesnauskis Palazeulos Kingston Driver Jonsson Stewart Nade IMO Tall and Bednar are as good as gone already so there's little point in putting them in, and I've excluded youth players from my list because there's a blurring on which ones are actually first team players. BervieJambo
Banks - Keep Neilson - Keep Wallace - Keep - unless we get > ?1m for him Berra - Sell for ?1m Tall - No Gonclaves - Sell if we can McCann - Keep as player coach Kingston - Sell for ?2m Aguir - Keep Driver - Keep - unless we get > ?1m for him Bednar - Sell to WBA Nade - Sell if we can Makela - No Miko - Keep Chezny - Return to Kaunus Johnson - Keep - unless we get > ?1m for him Elliot - Keep Stewart - Sell if we can Kancelkis - Return to Kaunus Karipidis - Keep - unless we get > ?500k for him Zaliukas - Keep as a back-up Pinilla - Sell if we can Ivaskevicius - Return to Kaunus - though keep tabs on him - I still reckon he'll come good in a few years time Ksanavicius - Keep as a back-up Kurskis - Return to Kaunus Basso - No Screpis - Keep Palazuelos - Keep - unless we get > ?1m for him Mole - Keep
Mo Berthe
Can't believe there is so much debate!! This team has a dearth of quality. Simple as that. I'd rather have Inverness' squad than ours!!!! Banks and Wallace are the only ones that should stay.
bighusref
Not just aimed at you Julio, but would anyone who has named players they want to keep shed any real tears or be hugely disappointed if the players they named did leave? None. There is not a player in our squad that would hugely derail any rebuilding we need to do. The closest to being upset at players going I would get, is if a young-ish player went for less than we could get for them after a good season, ie, Berra, Wallace, Jonsson. Red 23
I think I would hang on to Wallace though, as well as all the other players that fall in to the U23 bracket. I would hate to see them leave and then do well elsewhere and Hearts regret letting them go. Plus, I honestly think Hearts starting point for next season should be with youth, bring in Scottish young players from SPL or Div One (see Andy Jackson at St Johnstone, Richard Offion at Hamilton etc) and see how that goes. Minimal investments compared to what we have done over the last few years
Jambo83
Keepers: Banks McDonald Neilson (Until a better replacement can be found) Berra (Sold maybe next summer) Karipidis Wallace (Still think he'll come good) Ruben Jonsson Kingston (Sold in Jan or next summer) Miko Driver Mole (For 1 season to give him another chance) Nade
Coco
Turning this around: Obviously the Romanovs have run out of money so it will be impossible to keep on all the current remaining higher earners. With the aim of getting closer to balancing the books and trying to get to top 3 or 4 next season I would Release Ksnavicius, Ivaskevicius, Kursksis, Kancelskis, Basso, McCann, Aguiar, Zaliukas Not bothered if they go but they can't all stay Nade, Pinilla, Makela, Elliot, Palazuelos, Stewart, Kingston, Karipidis, Tall, Goncalves, Mikoliunas, Cesnauskis Remaining in the squad to build on Banks, Neilson, Berra, Wallace, Jonsson, Driver, Bednar. I would look to sign a first team goalkeeper, a dominating centre half, a ball winner for midfield, a player who can go from midfield past the strikers, a player who can hold the ball up front and dominate defenders, and a poacher with pace. More pace and strength generally.
Flimsy
Banks - Keep Neilson - Sell if anyone wants him, if not keep as back-up Wallace - Sell if someone offers ?1m - overrated IMO Berra - Sell if someone offer ?1.5m, happy to keep though Tall - Allow to leave at end of contract, our best defender but too expensive Goncalves - Sell if someone offers ?1m, happy to keep though McCann - Goodbye, would not retain as a coach either, I want the new manager (ha!) to bring in his own people Kingston - Sell if offered ?2m, happy to keep though Aguiar - Sell, no better than what we have and no doubt expensive Driver - Keep unless we get a huge offer Bednar - Going to West Bromwich Albion Nade - Sell if we can recoup his transfer fee, happy to keep though Makela - Sell Mikoliunas - Sell Cesnauskis - Sell Jonsson - Sell if offered ?1.5m, happy to keep though Elliot - Sell Stewart - Sell Kancelskis - Keep as squad player but not bothered if he returns to Kaunas Karipidis - Keep but not bothered if he goes Zaliukas - Back to Kaunas Pinilla - Award him a contract and sell him for as much as we can Ivaskevicius - Back to Kaunas Ksanavicius - Back to Kaunas Kurskis - Back to Kaunus Basso - Sell Screpis - Give him a chance Palazuelos - Sell if offered ?1m, happy to keep though Mole - Keep
bighalders
To me the way to judge this one is look at the last time we had a success - a mere 2 years ago - look at our squad now - who would have got in the cup winning team - answer no one, therefore keep no one time for a clear out - rip it up and start again in the words of a famous song
