Disser Pointon
Ideal scenario for me is this- Hibs beat Ayr (bear with me) and then go on to dispose of both halves of the old firm in the next 2 rounds, providing a massive distraction from their continuing abysmal league for and getting their fans thinking that ?this is the year?. They then get drawn with the remaining lower league team in the semis abd get humilitaed at Hampden once again leaving us to humble Aberdeen in the final as payback for 86. You can but dream. It's a nice dream, but how do we get to a situation where we play the sheep in the final, if the docksiders get pumped from a lower league team in the semis? Mmmmmm, good point, hadn't thought that one through very well had I!
Victorian
Yeah I was surprised to see that too. Celtics record is quite staggering though. 11 out of 16 against lower league. incredible. perhaps.

Guest John Meurig Thomas
It's a great draw. Disagree. We've played Falkirk in both cups in recent times, and Partick in the Scottish back in 06. Plus it's at home to lower league opposition. Low home crowd that will turn if we're not 1-0 up by half time and loads of away fans having a party regardless of whether we pump them or not. The Merse
Basically we SHOULD be getting to the Quarter Final (if we don't piss about), and there will only be one of the Old Firm left by then. Great chance of a good run if we get our heads screwed on.

Luton Jambo
We beat Falkirk on the way to cup glory in 98 and Partick on the way to winning it in 2006. If you believe in omens then it's all good, provided we don't balls it up tonight.
