The Treasurer
both sets of old firm fans are often reluctant to pay extra money to attend cup games now. it's seen as them subsidising other teams due to the gate being shared. Some of our so called "fans" are using this piss-poor excuse for not attending tonight
Bainy
I just don't get why St Johnstone and Killie never agreed to the lower prices. Surely the difference would of been balanced out by the extra fans through the door. Scottish football is kidding its self on if its thinks folk are going to fork out 20 odd quid to watch a piss poor Scottish cup tie on a Monday night, that is live on BBC 1 in the middle of January. We wonder why the games in such a mess up here. In Germany you wont pay much more than ?12 for a top of the table clash in the top league, Scotland its just under ?30 for quality of football that would not look out of place in the playground.
