You have got to be kidding my goldfish has a longer attention span then Maybury. He's so busy patting himself on the back for doing something very ordinary that he doesn't notice when he drops us deeper in the ***** than before he moved.

Agreed, some very dodgy memories on this thread. Alan 'shank ma clearence into the Wheatfield' Maybury, was probably worse than Robbie.

Folk just liked him because he looked like a footballer and scored a good goal once.

If we are going to replace Robbie lets replace him with a good player who is comfortable on the ball and even slightly dangerous when going forward.

Worse than Robbie, No. But I can see your point. Maybury is not the answer.

Look at John Robertson!

:thumb: Certainly well worth it when he came back, one of the best signing Hearts made when he returned to Tynecastle if not THE BEST, especially for his goals against Hibs. :thumb:

Would take back maybury in a flash. He has a bit pace, good distribution ( i dont know any full back who *****s it out for a throw by accident as much as Robbie) and can cross. He also has the right attitude that we need at the moment and we would get another 2 and a half seasons out of him.

Robbie can stay as back up and a good head in the dressing room, lets be honest nobody is going to take him!
