barney392
the way i see it is that we are pandering to one half of the old firm again. For years they have felt "persecuted" by our officials, and now an opportunity has arisen which allows them to get their way. Are our officials cheats. NO. I would say they are certainly incompetent, and lack good man management skills. When was the last time we saw a refereee having a good crack with the players. They tend to read directly from the rule book and show no common sense. Mind you when a player complains to the press about an official telling him where to go, then youve got to wonder about the mentality of the player. Is Dougie macdonald a cheat? NO. He made the correct decision. It wasnt a penalty. His mistake was not to admit to it straight away. That and making it against the perennial oppressed. Celtics conduct is nothing short of disgusting. To carry on a witch hunt when sweeping their own failings under the carpet. Nice to hear Dr John talk of integrity and honesty. Im sure he will sack the newest recruit to paranoia, for his attempt to win a penalty against the hearts. Do we need foreign refs. No. the old addage that its better the devil you know... certainly comes to mind. Once again, when the SFA gets worried, it panders to the beast. Nothin much changes. Rant over.
