Not really sure what to make of this.

If they are taking money from United to pay off the debt surely that's just moving the debt elsewhere? Or have I got that wrong?

Discuss.

"United generated revenues of ?278m and have more than ?100m of cash reserves."

i think this is the key sentence - it seems REAL money is being used to clear some of the debt

This must be a good thing for United. David Conn hasn't written a doom and gloom blog about United in The Grauniad!

Manufactured United.....tick tock :smoking:

Chelsea minus Terry and Lampard for a while......tick tock.

Back on topic, it seems a good thing, even if they have taken out a loan to pay it off, the interest is lower so hopefully wont be losing much now!

These are the debts that are personally liable by the Glazer's.

Nothing to do with the LBO debts on the club.
