Wartime games in WWII are excluded from 'official' Scottish And English statistics because not all teams were allowed to compete. Teams often had guest players eg Sir Matt Busby at Hibs. However the games were clearly 'competitive' and are included in Hearts official statistics of club and Players records. Though you won't see them in many national records.
