Under 17s v Hamilton

After a shaky start to the season, the under 17s won 3-1 away from home with a fine display. Previous weeks have seen them beaten well by both Motherwell and Dundee United. Last week they started to turn the tide and had an easy victory against Dundee 5-1. Yesterday, saw a better all round performance from the whole team and the scoreline should have been more than 3. Hopefully, this improvement continues as they have the hobos in 2 weeks time away from home. The team was as follows:

A King, Brown, Campbell, Keegan

Todd, Paterson, Carnwath, Lynas

Graham, Carrick

Subs:

Nicholson, McDonald, Sanderson, McMillan

 

4 of the starting 11 are all 1st year under 17s, subs are also all 1st year under 17s.

I watched the Motherwell and Dundee games and the change in attitude and application was like night and day. What's the story with Adam King playing at RB? I would have thought that Carnwath, McDonald and Sanderson would have been options or are the U17 coaches taking a leaf out of JJ's book and playing players out of their preferred positions.
