I always enjoyed watching Ferguson play for the JT's, however I'm not sure why he didn't shine as much as I hoped. Perhaps the support around him wasn't good enough or the field was too small? Very often he would play the ball into space to find no-one in our squad had thought of making the run. Was a quality player for us. Pity about Gers equaliser. Always felt he was one step ahead of the players around him - he also suffered from fans always wanting the ball played forward quickly. One does concede though that he never achieved what he could have in the game though. Still, played till he was in his late 30's, obviously had a real love for the game.
