Sydney Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 Anyone so old skool he still refers to Arsenal as "the Arsenal" is fine by me. I really dislike it when people refer to them as "the Arsenal". Always have - for no particular reason either. Not an Arsenal fan or an Arsenal hater. People who talk about "nice bread" (meaning not white sliced bread), "real coffee" (it's all real you wankers) or "a nice piece of fish" (my nan used to say that - it really got to me) would also say "the Arsenal".
