The People's Chimp

That blog is utterly woeful. Takes a topic then lists questions that, if answered, might form the basis for an interesting or readable article, then says "over to you..."

What did the witless wonder cook up in his latest exciting installment?

This steady stream of warm urine:

is the highly emotional backdrop to any Easter Road shindig, and given The Proclaimers love of the Hibs and the Leith connection it's an obvious battle hymn for the Hibees.Yet over in Gorgie, neighbours Hearts appear to be more traditionalist sticking with the rousing 'Hearts Hearts Glorious Hearts', which is thunderously emotional when belted out from a full Tynecastle, but perhaps in need of updating.

So why has the choir at Tynie not come up with something for the modern age?

Sunshine on Leith was released in 1988. 22 years ago. Definitely something for the "modern age" then.

Totally agree. More often that not he uses his blog to crowbar in a complementary comment about United, or it is constructed to show them in favourable light.

Old cheesey Wotsit head has also failed to comprehend that we have actually "made the song our own", whereas the others have simply chosen a song and repeated it verbatim. Hardly making it a football song.

The Hearts song is by far and away the best football song in the country. Why would we want to "update" it!?

Awful blog.
