Deek
I am off to Spain next week for three weeks. I have a Nokia N900 with Vodafone with unlimited internet access. But to use this in Spain would cost a fortune. Has anybody bought a reciprocal Spanish sim card and could give me tips?
Dave Spacey
I am off to Spain next week for three weeks. I have a Nokia N900 with Vodafone with unlimited internet access. But to use this in Spain would cost a fortune. Has anybody bought a reciprocal Spanish sim card and could give me tips? One of my friends used a "movistar" sim card, she had a lot of friends over there so was easier to keep in touch. No real advice to give but, "Traveller Fraud In Spain, Movistar often sells SIM cards that will not register on an unlocked phone, which results in short term visitors paying for service they are unable to use." It's part of the Telefonica group which operates as o2 in the uk. So if your with o2 may be worth finding out if a movistar sim will work in your phone. Deek
Am with Vodafone TS. I have seen sim cards on Ebay with good reports but know of at least 2 kickbackers who live in Spain who could contradict or help.
