Happy Hearts Posted May 6, 2010 Share Posted May 6, 2010 The story appeared on BBC website today and I was told it was related to the game on Saturday. Anything know about it? Also trouble down the Hibs club? Police in Edinburgh are trying to find several men involved in a mass brawl at the weekend. The fight happened at about 1915 BST on Saturday outside Bar Salsa in the Grassmarket area of the city. Two men aged 26 and 39 suffered minor injuries and a 50-year-old man was hit and knocked unconscious. Four people - three men aged 20, 21 and 23 and a 15-year-old boy - have already been charged in connection with the brawl. Lothian and Borders Police are searching for several other men and have appealed for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to come forward. A police spokesman said: "We are particularly keen to speak to a female member of the public who came to the aid of one of the injured men and may have been harassed by the group in the process." A girl i know was there, fecking idiots ! IT was hobo causels who had being drinking all day that turn on a boy in there, there was 6 of them and one bouner on, so he had no chance. There was a lot of other people in who were just in shock as the muppets went around trashing the bar. Don't condone violece in anyway, but i walked past Mr Blance and two of his minions on saturday before the game on albion road and was subjected to some verbal for the colour of my jumper and the scarf i had on. Then it kicked off. yes but when blance and his 4 mates walked in then the guys that were upstairs started throwing the bottles and chairs ect as they thought that blance had came mob-handed when infact there were only 5 of them...... thats when blance and his mates knew they were outnumbered so they left by the side door trying to phone for back up at the same time. CJGJ Posted May 7, 2010 Share Posted May 7, 2010 It's well known that some of the same group trashed the bar in the Grassmarket then made swiftly off the the Hibs club -- of course Mr Bunce (with son) was holding court upon their return . The party upstairs did contain a few faces from what can loosely be called the Hearts casual group -- one or two of whom were given some verbals when spotted having the proverbial fag outside -- it did not take long for it to kick off -- Mr Bunce and co were unaware there were quite a few attending the bash and were 'escorted' out of the premises. There have been a few more arrests today and a couple more expected -- with many of the faces on video and of course well known for their Hibs casual connections it is only a matter of time until they are identified -- many of them were videod at Easter Road earlier in the day and it won't be long till a few more are questioned. Judging by the way details of the 'Battle of Sunnyside Hibs Club' have been 'confirmed' on this thread, I'll wager (got inside info from a source) his initials are both somewhere between A-Z, and are most likely to be different letters in the case of forename and surname - though not a certainty.
