gold on the inside, copper outside. Judging by the footmarks it's interactive and clearly lights up - mining museum of some sort?

I can see your logic.

Some info: It's outside, exists due to the Covid 19 pandemic, and isn't in the UK.

Seeing as my previous efforts have been sussed in double-quick time, here's one with no immediate clues. I do have some clues lined up, though.

Funnily enough, you're not far off as regards lattitude, but circa 4,500 miles away.

I’m guessing by the sunglasses and hat it’s outside, somewhere bright but not necessarily hot (wearing jacket).

Currently 21⁰ ... 😎

Crikey. Have you invented some sort of time machine? Should this thread be renamed "Where and when is this?" :)

Just for info, it was a work of art dedicated to health care workers. The inscription, just in case it's not clear on this photo reads, "Madeira tribute to health professionals and to others who faced the Covid-19 pandemic."

Meanwhile, please know that this is my excuse for missing the away match v the 🐑. My gal treated us to an excursion.

I'm gutted. 🤭

In that case, here's an Edinburgh one especially for you.

It's within strolling distance from the 1st photo which holds dark memories for more than a few elderly(ish) Jambos.

See if you were my gal? I'd send you this in reply.

But you're not, although I do feel for you.

however, chin up, as you'll be earning coinage whilst the Jambos rout the 🐑 in a pittodrie disaster for the home team.

I'm hoping that the Gorgie Ultras have a rendition of, "Champion's League Na Na Na Na" at the ready.

Are you a savant?

I'll attach the give-away photos.

I imagined a bit of confusion with e.g. Inverleith and other Edinburgh ponds.

The building is the old 1st year 'Annexe' for Porty High pupils which has evil memories for 70's kids, and is now residential.

Being able to recognise the Figgy Park so quickly? Hmmm ... 😁

The biggest clue was "Edinburgh"

I walked the whole length of the Bonaly/Braid/Figgate burn a few years ago, but I'm much more familiar with the first two named sections, which I have walked many times previously.  There are sections of the burn that are similar to each other, but it was the pond that gave it away.

Well, top marks to you. I honestly thought that this one would've needed a few clues.

Would you have got it otherwise?

I walked through it mid-afternoon on way back from Tynie (picked up Killie tickets).

e: see your mention of the pond.

There was a spell between 10-15 years ago that I did a lot of walking, typically 8-10 miles a day, so I've done all the paths, river/burn walks, canal, proms, parks around the city, the Pentlands and elsewhere. Sometimes it was a loop, sometimes a one way walk and a bus back, or occasionally take the car somewhere and do the same from there.

Aye, it's a great way to see the city. Wheneveer I pick up tickets I usually walk back, usually with a stop off for a refreshment or two. :D

That pond brings back memories right enough

My first and recurrent nightmare was after my older brother told me it was artificial  when I was about 6. I had this dream it had been drained out and i was stuck in the bottom of it - it was about 12 ft high at the sides. There were four 10 feet high doors and from somewhere behind them there was a horrible growling noise , I couldn't distinguish which door the noise was coming from but it was getting closer - I had to choose a door to pen but it might be the one with the monster approaching

Still gives me the heebeegeebies thinking about that and it came to mind as soon as I saw the picture.

This is a total 'stick-on' for any of our dedicated away supporters ... but an extra point for naming this fella ...

Continuing the theme of away matches, here's one for those who may have, or maybe not, attended today's derby.

I've scrubbed the 'give away' seeing as my ones have been way too easy recently.

Where is this?

Clues:-

Londinium,

Capability Brown? ...

... No! Think William Henry Playfair ... but not what he may be most famous for.

Easter Road is to my right.

There is a cottage to my left.

I am looking North (ish).
