Stoddyhmfc
Muse Meadowbank 2006 probably. Only let down was the pishy support by MCR. :santa5:
Euan
Can't be narrowed down into one, five will have to do: Radiohead @ Meadowbank, 2006. Flaming Lips @ Indian Summer Festival, 2007. Rage @ T in the Park, 2008. Daft Punk @ Arrow Hall, Toronto, 2007. And I'm going to give a surprise nomination, the Hold Steady @ T in the Park 2008. They were half an hour late due to missing a connection, had no time to set up, but played a fifteen minute set with an acoustic guitar and the singer. They were genuinely apologetic and appeared so delighted to be performing on stage. I've probably forgotten something unreal though of course. trotter
All gigs so far have been 'proper band' music ones so i'm gonna chip in with my personal favourite DJ sets i've seen in the noughties (hey, it's still a gig!!).... ArminOnly @ Jaarbuurs Arena, Utrecht - April '08 Paul van Dyk @ Global Gathering, Long Marston Airfield - July '

Hugh Watt
White Stripes Liquid Room 2001 closely followed by HMHB at same venue 2003, crying "Bob Wilson - anchorman" !
rossthejambo
Green Day - SECC 2002 (I think), supported by New Found Glory. Was class. Billy Talent - ABC 2007, brilliant live band. Almost as good as Green Day, think the venue played a part in that. Yellowcard - Academy maybe 2006 but not sure. Really good live. Not been to any gigs recently but hope to fix that next year. Carl Fredrickson
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, June 2008. A better set (IMO) than Hampden, though the Hampden gig still kicked donkeys.
Koolkeith
I'd have to narrow it down to 5. Stones throw concert at venue 2003, with madlib, j dilla, prince paul, etc Ghostface Killah at sub club 2007 Pharoahe Monch at Glasgow school of art 2003 Iron and Wine at Queens Hall 2007/2008 Pearl Jam at SECC 2000
Boomstick
Ryan Adams & The Cardinals - Picture House I am so unbelievably jealous of this. We had some pishy band on at work on that same night (think it was razor****e) Mine would be a gig I got to go to at work Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds in November 2008 or maybe Xavier Rudd also at work in August of that year too. I caught Hell is For Heroes a good few years ago at Blue nightclub in Inverness, they were great, as was their support act Areogramme. Old Crow Medicine Show are one of my favorite bands and I was bowled over at how good they were in the Liquid Rooms a couple of days before my birthday. The Well's album launch in the voodoo rooms was really good too. The absolute WORST I have seen was either Kate Nash at work or possibly My Latest Novel at Meadowbank. Ali-1874
For me the question is what was my favourite ever gig. I can pick a top three pretty easily. 1. Blur- T in the Park 2009 2. The Prodigy- SECC 2009 3. Pendulum- Corn Exchange 2008 (I think?) Going to see the latter two at the Corn Exchange in 2010 and then in Milton Keynes.
