I was surprised when I'd heard it snowed in Edinburgh as well SaorAlba. Certainly never snowed at all today on the East side of the city. I stayed overnight with relatives and there was no snow in the Portobello/ Edinburgh East area. I went out for a walk along the beach this morning around 10:00, and it looked as if it was either raining or snowing very heavily down past Cockenzie way, but only for about 15 minutes or so.
