FFS what's wrong with 15 minutes for the players to have a cup of 3 sugars tea, a couple of digestive and a Woodbine while the fans get entertained by Strathclyde Polis Pipe Band?

If I'm having to stay up to 3/4am then I want something better than that insipid pish!

If no team scores in the next ten mins I'm off to bed. I don't care who that is anymore.

Great defence or not, Goff is playing horribly.

If you're enjoying this because of 'great defense' then you're a weirdo.

I know very little about the finer points American Football or what makes a great player but Brady has that thing that all great sportsmen have of seeming to have more time and space than anyone else on the pitch. He's just so calm when he's getting closed down.

What a defensive play that was for all the weirdos!

3-3

Still a very mixed drive though. Looked better than the Pats have so far on that one drive.

Thought there were signs Goff was coming alive...until he got well and truly sacked.

Monday booked off.

Hot dogs, assorted salty snacks and plenty of alcohol on hand.

Should be a great game.

You did this.

Not going to lie. Squeaky bum time.

I just feel the Rams are starting to motor. They can do this.

And they follow that up with a shite drive ??

And then the wheels fall off . I thought this could be the play but it all falls down.

He still has that naive young qb thing going on. Maybe now knowing he has to just go for it he will step up. Can’t stand either team but Pats doing what they do quick hard passes to Edelman and lobs to Gronk.  Goff needs to step up now.....

Won my first TD bet at least.

Sure i saw a 9-1 bet for there to be a TD i mind thinking thats crazy odds , nearly a killer bet though

That was a big play by the defense there but that went way up in the air. Did he fall back or was it the pressure?

Edit: saw the reply he slipped as he threw it. Still going to the well once to often throwing it toward Gilmore again

That'll be that.

:seething:

If it is it then Michel or Edelman MVP? One 1st down kills it doesn’t it?

Edit: ok one more 1st down kills it now for sure ?

I would say Edelman. He was the only 'highlight' for 3 quarters. ?

Posted

That squeeked inside the post. Michel my only thought is the drive to push that to the brink and the crucial touchdown. Edelman has been insanely good tonight and a lot of third downs but no argument if its Edelman

Absolutely brilliant game plan. 3 months since Boston won a sports championship. Cue the Duck Boats. Again.

I'm watching the post game show, Randy Moss and Steve Young commentating, hall of famers both of them, Super Bowl rings ? 1 between them! Shows you how much Brady is The GOAT.

Was weird watching the game.  I'm in Melbourne for a couple weeks and was watching the game in the office through various means.  Had my Patriots cap on but seemed most of the Aussies were rooting for the Rams.

Anyway - massive 'D' game but you can't say the Pats weren't the better team on the day.

Now we need to go for 7 and take the lead against the Steelers...hopefully with B and B.

Go Pats!

The Rams players were like rabbits caught in headlights.

It's not what the Pats done, it's what the Rams didn't do.

Experience won in the end

Maybe a bit of naivety but the Pats had a game plan and executed it perfectly on defense. They shut down a team that had scored 30+ is most of their games this year. That was in large part due to the coaching staffs game plan and players executing it perfectly.
