trotter
Some of the wee pubs do 30cl (about half a pint) for 3euros. Be warned though - the heads are massssive!!
Auld Reekin'
Heading there tomorrow. What sort of prices for the old bevy can I expect? Just for a heads up.. Any recommendations? Forgot to mention: head for Utrechtstraat, heading away from the centre from Rembrantsplein, for a great range of pubs and restaurants. It's mainly locals drinking and eating there as well, so probably a bit cheaper and definitely more "authentic" than some of the more touristy areas. Also worth a look is the area around the Sarphati Park, in the Oude Zuid.
deesidejambo
Leidseplein is good for all nightlife. Not quite as expensive as down the centre. Not cheap either though. If the Heineken brewery still does its tours thats ace.
Nucky Thompson
Don't drink in the pubs around Dam square or on the main street heading down from Central Station, stick to the pubs in the back streets.
