New York New York- Sinatra. I'm hopeless but never been stopped from singing the song yet.

I try Cigs & Alc...Oasis; no idea if any good but not been on karaoke for a while.

(Bad Moon Rising is quality.)

Everybody loves Baz

I have been known to sing Spandau's "True" now and again. :10900:

But my " Tainted love" normally goes down well.:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

another great number.

is there a reason that the 80's lend itself to Karaoke?

Unfair!

The decade that was The Eighties produced some fantastic music, IMO.

I did a wonderful version of 'The Long and Winding Road' in the UKCA in Larnaca a year or so back. I'm sure this can be confirmed by at least one other member. :2thumbsup:

Only done it once and that was back at the start of the year. Me and a mate got up and did 'Delilah' whilst being lifted shoulder high by a bunch of Welsh rugby fans with learning difficulties.

Why do we drink...

I love a bit of Karaoke.

Would say the Eagles' 'Best of my Love' or 'Desperado' are my favourites.

I'm not that good but with eight or nine pints in me I feel like I am born to sing.*

*Ok, maybe three pints. Or four shandies.

I am dreadful at singing.

I have made notable attempts at "Too Much Too Young" in Robertsons and "A Little Help From My Friends" at the former Mercado.

Doctor FinnBarr

Don't do karaoke myself but daughter Kay does a passable Bohemian Rhapsody and Don't Stop Me Now. Strange choices for a 9 year old but there you go!

The Old Tolbooth

My song is Dignity by Deacon Blue, Tazio even paid me a compliment after I sung it in Westies one night saying that he recognised that tune from somewhere, he's our very own JKB's Simon Cowell critic of music

Even at my drunkest you couldn't get me to try Karaoke.

So is it just me who loathes karaoke then? Nothing, and I mean nothing, would ever persuade me to do it, and I find it absolutely cringe-inducing watching and listening to others mauling songs to death.

I have 'sung' quite a few Killers tunes in the past including Human, All These Things That I've Done, Somebody Told Me and my personal party piece Mr Brightside.

Also attempted Chasing Cars and In The End by Linkin Park (it was interesting to say the least !)

Almost forgot we did the Hearts version of My Way once as well :D

Done it once, seemingly 2 songs.

Get it on (Bang a gong) by T- Rex I was better than I thought I would be, about 8 pints, and

Try a little tenderness, no idea because I cant remember doing it but the in laws both swear I done it and done it well, god knows how many I'd had then.

I will never do it again because I don't drink now.
