Oh and this decade should be referred to as "the noughts", not "the naughties".

Managed to get through this decade without needing a name for it so reckon I will manage the same for the next decade.

 

I have never heard anyone refer to this decade as the noughties, or anything similar, other than the media

I reckon won't need a name for another 10/20 years when people need to refer to it for music. Though it's been pretty ***** for music in truth.

Probably just call it the 2000s tbh, as in the two-thousands. As for the next decade it'll be the 2010s (twenty-tens), like the 1910s were the nineteen-tens.

I've only ever called it 'This year' or 'Next year' or 'A couple of years ago'
