Examiner
Got sent this 'old one' by way of contrast. So many memories - although, as it was the 70's very few fitba ones, many of them involve avoiding rivers of pee running down the stand and being (rarely) crushed and swept away with the movement of the crowd as a boy whenever we scored. The crush bars were good for swinging on when the football wasn't worth watching (about 85 mins of swinging most weeks) Trying to work out the scores without a programme on the old wooden score board Happy times. The 80's (like so many innocent pleasures) spoiled all that eventually and things got a bit more serious as the fitba slowly improved towards '86. If I remember correctly,it was taken about mid June.Wouldnt mind getting access to the other three floodlights,to get more pics. If and when the new stand gets built i'll probably be up there too,so should get some interesting pics.
