Victorian
i have recently made the splendid purchase of his initial three series on DVD. 'around the world in 80 days' 'pole to pole' 'full circle' he's done others such as 'himalaya', 'sahara' and 'new europe' but i never thought these journeys were as good as the first three. even though these programmes are ageing a bit now (80 days being over 20 years old) they are still great entertainment. well worth the paltry ?24 for the 3 series (9 DVDs in total - 20 hours run-time). i recommend to the house... Ron Burgundy
The guy is in a league of his own at these type of programmes.I have all his books and am currently half way through Himalaya. Favourite programme was probably Pole to Pole but all are very enjoyable. In fact I think Mr Palin should be Prime Minister.Top banana.
