Hearts players :-

John Colqhoun

Robbo

Craig Levien

Colin Cameron

Cammy Fraser (he was my 1st idol but I was a nipper and we were a poor side at the time)

Skacel was as good as I have seen at Tynie for that 1st half season but it wasnt sustained, so cant have him in there and I think Larry is sheer class but he aint payed enough games either.

My favourite world top 5:-

Zidane

Dalgleish

Zico

Messi

Maradona

Dalgleish was always a hero of mine when I was a kid.........I remember being soooo disappointed when I found out he played for Septic before the Scousers.

This is in no particular oreder and bear in mind i am only 19 and slightly hammered...

1) Rodolf Skacel- best natural ability out of any hearts player in my life time

2) John Robertson- scored against the hobos every time and also have a picture of him holding me as a baby

3) Craig Gordon- I am a goalkeeper and this man is a gentleman who used to pull of saves most would consider as impossible

4) Joh Colqhoun- used to get on your feet when he had the ball

5) Steve Fulton- just for the sheer banter, and i have his signed strip from the 1998 cup final

Who is everyones Top 5 favourite players of all time?

Not necessarily ability wise. Just players who you have admired and loved to watch over the years.

Heres mine.

1. John Robertson - need i say anymore!?

2. Paul Gascoigne - always loved his style on the ball. Footballing Genius.

3. Colin Cameron - Wee Mickey was a joy to watch, his engine was superb.

4. Paul Hartley - as above, like Mickey his desire and will to win.

5. Robbie Fowler - for his early years with the pool. Best natural finisher ive seen.

I admire all five of the above players.

My Top 5 favorite Non-Hearts would be:

1. Romario

2. Roberto Baggio

3. Paul 'Gazza' Gascoigne

4. Roy Keane

5. Eric 'The King' Cantona

Hearts:

1. Takis Fyssas

2. John Robertson

3. Pasquale Bruno

4. Stevie Boy Fulton

5. Pasquale Bruno

IN my youth, I used to love Gary Mackay, but looking back as an adult, I think he was a tad over rated (great Hearts man none the less). I always enjoyed watching the technical excellence of Big Janny in full flow. A match for any defence on his day the big man.

(10. Keeping this space bank in honour of every Hearts player who ever tried their hardest for the team.)[/quote

like that:)

I do, and I don't like that.... The likes of Robbie Neilson, Gary Locke and Kev Twaddle have all given 100% and are Jambos through n' through. But so would any of us Jambos, doesn't hide the fact we can't kick our arse. I preffer class.

11 Takis' over 11 Neilson's any day.

Hard to pick five but

Eddie Thomson

Jim Cruikshank

Robbo

JC

Steve Fulton

but feel bad about leaving out Gary McKay, Craig Levein, Steven Pressley, Donald Ford, three or four goalkeepers and a hundred others.

Swap Donald Ford for Fulton and I think that's my five too. Good to see a mention for the late, great Eddie Thomson.
