Spellczech Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 This may only be a small problem but does anyone get really frustrated that when we have throw-ins our players all just stand around and wait for the ball to come to them whereas opposition players make runs to find space to receive the ball? It bugs the hell out of me. Used to be that we did this because we had Robbie and Jose trying to throw the ball 25 metres so making a run was pointless but today's FBs cannot throw those kind of distances... Lack of movement at throw-ins is indicative of a laziness which seems endemic in this team - we also looked slow & cumbersome on the break whereas Rangers were tanking forward when they had breakaways.
