The official pretend we had a better start to the season thread

In the spirit of the pretend you are going to Zagreb thread, lets pretend we had an alternative set of results last week.

 

Really looking forward to facing der hun today, just hope Nade can maintain his goal scoring form after scoring in the first 2 games. Mind you it won't be every week that he rifles in a last minute 20 yarder to take the points at Tannadice nor tap in the rebound after Mikey's shot was saved in Zagreb to get us an away goal in a narrow 2-1 defeat. By the way how good has Mikey's early season form been? This captain responsibility really seems to be the making of him. He is surely a shoe in for Scotland now. As for that laddie Jonnson is there a position he doesn't look a natural in? He will surely be our right back for years to come. The back four look really solid no matter who plays, Bouzid, Zal, Kucharski all exceptional centre halfs who can play a killer pass out of defence as well as destroy any centre forward that is foolish enough to cross their path. Goncalves and Wallace both brilliant defensively and going forward. Midfield we look really solid with Reuben and Obua obviously having spent the summer on using their right foot, Stewart (the red haired Fabregas) and Suso. Not sure how long we will be able to hold on to Suso with Barca and Real sniffing around. Up front Wittenveen definitely looks the answer to our goal scoring problems with the chemistry him and Nade have, it puts me in mind of Dalglish and Rush at Liverpool. I just hope that ?5m Romanov has given Csaba to spend on a new striker doesn't unsettle him.

 

The only thing is Driver, Black, Kingston, Glen, Novi et all are all really going to struggle to break into the team with the form we are showing.

 

Anyway lets turn over the weegie **** early today then we can rest some players for the second leg of the Europa League. Mind you Dinamo didn't look too great in the first leg, we should be embarrased they actually beat us even with the 2 hooky goals they scored.
