Anyone know of somewhere that the game on Thursday is likely to be shown in Vegas? Am unfortunate enough to be away on holiday next week and, although I will likely struggle to drag myself out of bed for the midday kick-off, I thought I should be prepared. :10900:

Thanks in advance

The MGM grand bookmakers will be your best chance,

I was over in may for the hatton fight went there at 5 in the morning to watch us v gers did no realise it was on after pool v toon.

So still very hammered from the night before got tore into the bevy big time to cheer on the pool and hearts.

Cant remeber the end of the pool game seen none of the hearts game, was escorted out aside door of the MGM at lunch time after falling asleep wrapped round a pilar in the middle of the casino.

I ****in luv Vegas!

The Crown and Anchor british pub shows a lot of british games, ther is sometimes a "cover charge" involved however. I watched the away leg of the Sparta game in my hotel room in Vegas (on the web), cos couldn't find anywhere showing it

I'll also be in vegas next week so could maybe set a meeting place for the game to enjoy a few beers with a few fellow jambos? Going to see the Kings of Leon the night before as well!

Thanks everyone - as chance would have it, I too am staying at the MGM Grand so will give it a shot. Neil - don't mention Kings of Leon - my good lady wanted to go and see that and I foolishly went ahead and booked tickets to see Tom Jones for a laugh, only to discover later it was on the same night as the Kings of Leon gig! D'oh! Sound like there will be a good few Jambos over there which is excellent news. Think Thursday avo could be a good time to 'selflessly' book the missus into the spa at the MGM for an hour or two!!

Good shout about the Crown n Anchor, Shobi - forgot about that - went there last time I was in Vegas but they were struggling for some reason to get the Hearts game. Ended up in some random Irish pub watching the derby at 8am after an all-nighter but have absolutely no memory of where it was or how I happened upon it!

Excalibur is just over the way from the MGM Grand so you are well placed mate! ESPN Zone in NYNY is also a good shout and is not far down the road from you - it is all beginning to come back to me! I am defo gonna try MGM Grand bookies first up, - will ask on Wednesday, will phone the Crown n Anchor too, and do my best to make it to a computer to post an update as to whether they are showing it. Likeliehood is that, come Thursday avo, I will be on the wrong end of a 16 hour stint at the tables and won't have a clue where my room is, let alone where the Hearts game is showing though!

Go to the Crown and Anchor British Pub near the corner of East Tropicana Ave. and Maryland Parkway. Phone in advance for the schedule. The number is (702) 739-8676.

Remember, they'll be lunch time sessions due to the time difference.
