Goose Baxter
I am wanting to buy a hard drive tower for my TV, Me and the mrs are due to move in together in October and fancied a p.c in the house but have heard that you can do this through your TV. Â So can anyone recommend me a place that I can buy this? Â It will mainly be used for football manager and holding pictures, I-tunes kind off thing. Â Don?t plan on using this for the internet as she has her laptop for this. Â Any ideas?

JamboBannon10
It doesn't need to be any special kind of tower basically just buy a PC without a monitor and u can hook it up to ur tv (im guessing u have a newer TV which has a PC input) then get urself a wireless mouse and keyboard n just switch onto it like ud switch onto a games console, basically its just whatever Ur wantin to pay, id probably recomend gettin 1 custom built if ur just using it for what u said, spend most of ur money gettin a massive HDD if the rest is just half decent that will be fine for football manager games

Toggie88
It's a piece of ****. If you have an existing PC or Latop, it can be done with one simple cable. Â I connect my laptop up for movies and what not.
BoJack Horseman
I do enjoy the oldies calling it the 'Hard Drive' . Â As folk have said, you'd just need a basic PC if it's for FM etc. Get yourself some knowledge and you can have high quality movies on your big telly for nout. They could make a custom machine for you if you aren't happy building one yourself.

BoJack Horseman
What i'd do is go here;  http://www.dell.co.uk/home/desktops?~ck=mn  Find the machine that you want, don't worry too much about the specs.  Then go here;  http://www1.euro.dell.com/uk/en/dfh/Desktops/ct.aspx?refid=desktops&s=dfh&cs=ukdfh1&~ck=mn  And find the Desktop that you'd like.  Dell outlet is basically just PCs that have been built but then either the order has been cancelled or it has been returned. They are in brand new condition but are not customiseable. That's why they are so cheap.

Dean Winchester
Few very good ones from: http://www.meshcomputers.com/Default.aspx?PAGE=PRODCATEGORYVIEWPAGE&USG=APPLICATION&ENT=APPLICATION&KEY=59734  For decent prices as well. Mind most of them are without a monitor  The R2S - Matrix PII 925 is a very good deal. 8GB memory will run it like a whippit. If you do buy it make sure you edit it so you get the windows 7 options so that it can actually use the full 8GB of memory.

It's getting hooked up to his telly.  http://outlet.euro.dell.com/topics/global.aspx/arb/online/en/InventorySearch?c=uk&cs=ukdfh1&l=en&s=dfh  There's one for sub-?400 that has everything you need including an HDMI port for the telly.  It's one of these;
